DUBLAB presents - In the Loop: 3

Like its predecessors, the fabled first and second installments of dublab’s
in the loop series, part 3 shares shimmering sounds previously unavailable
on vinyl. These are the most dynamic declarations on our vibrating planet.

Loop 3 marks the debut appearance of Black Pocket, a new production entity
formed by Steve Spacek and Mathieu “Mr. French” Schreyer The duo conjure
supreme soul with an unabashedly out there sound. “Night Time” is twilight
krunk for the infinite open-eared set.

After diving deep into water currents for their debut album “dreams of water
themes” the Adventure Time duo (wonderkid Daedelus & dublab founder Frosty)
have set their sights on the stars. “1st in Space” is a taste of their
recent explorations into this new frontier. Like shining signals beamed
from a spinning satellite their cut and paste code is a captivating call to
universal action. Adventure Time’s fan base will continue to blossom this
year with new remixes surfacing of Piano Overlord (aka Prefuse 73) and
dublab colleague Mia Doi Todd.

Those in the know know the scoop on Caribou and the knowing are growing.
His recent the Milk of Human Kindness is Dan Snaith’s first album after
switching monikers from Manitoba but not his first output through the dublab
crew. dublab presents: summer featured an early song by the talented
composer. “the Snow Capes” continues their connection with gorgeous
results. Sounds shine through Caribou’s psychedelic lens like butterfly
wings bursting into refracted rays. His drums are dynamic and melodies
magnetic. Caribou comes correct.

GB is a young cat with his buttons stuck serenely on overdrive. His deeply
textured debut album Soundtrack for Sunrise on Sound in Color was infused
with all the gorgeous shades of a Southern California sunset. Now on “in
the loop” GB contributes in an instrumental mode reflecting his current side
experiments as Poly. Think dirty drifting dope then listen and make up your
own mind.

Milosh hits hearts with instant emotion. His 2004 Plug Research debut You
Make Me Feel could be the most overlooked album of the year. Those lucky
enough to discover his deep compositions keep them close to heart. Those
less fortunate are about to be blown away. “You Fill Me” is a gem amongst
gems. Unfolding with every measure the song builds until it blows in
heavenly tones.

Ammoncontact (youthful super producer Carlos Niño & forward focused Fabian
Ammon) are amongst the freshest spirits in hip hop. Their rapid-fire
release plan ensures they remain stocked in “new arrival” bins worldwide.
Ammoncontact have reached the eager world through Plug Research, Ninja Tune,
and Eastern Developments. They find resounding applause amongst
internationally open headphones. “Let the Rhythm Mysticism” resonates with
the glowing emotion of urban dreamers. These beats are ready for repeat
rotation.

Swiss, soon to be superstar, Dimlite recently reached out to the world with
his Runbox Weathers album on the esteemed Sonar Kollektiv label. Its lushly
crafted compositions are sheer beauty. dublab’s ears perked to a point with
every magic beat and Dimlite’s songs became instant hits on the dubStream.
in the loop 3 deepens the love affair by offering the beautiful
“Bougainvillea Chamber,” a tune all aswirl with psychedelic pulses and deep
bass blossoms. Listeners will pull out their stereo stethoscopes to catch
every lovely layer.

Each of the artists featured on dublab presents: in the loop 3 are already
buzzing off tongues worldwide. The Labrats won’t let eyes down either.
They have ensured complete pleasure with super sights to accompany the
sounds. Each side of the twelve inch are adorned with covers culled from
the over 500 original record designs in “UP OUR SLEEVE : the dublab covers
project.” This circle is a steppingstone in dublab’s positive music mission.
